working principle

The UASB consists of a sludge reaction zone, a gas-liquid-solid three-phase separator (including a deposition zone) and a gas chamber. A large amount of anaerobic sludge remains

in the bottom reaction zone, and the sludge with good deposition performance and aggregating performance forms a sludge layer in the lower part. The sewage to be treated flows from

the bottom of the anaerobic sludge bed to the sludge in the sludge layer for mixing, and the microorganisms in the sludge decompose the organic matter in the sewage and convert it

into biogas. The biogas is continuously released in the form of tiny bubbles. The microbubbles are continuously merged during the ascent process, and gradually form larger bubbles. In

the sludge bed, due to the agitation of the biogas, a sludge with a relatively thin sludge concentration and water rises into the three. The phase separation device, when the biogas hits

the reflector on the lower part of the separator, folds around the reflector, then passes through the water layer into the air chamber, concentrates on the gas in the gas chamber, and is

led out by the conduit, and the solid-liquid mixture is reflected into the three-phase. In the sedimentary zone of the separation device, the sludge in the sewage flocculates, the particles

gradually increase, and settle under the effect of gravity. The sludge deposited on the inclined wall slides back into the anaerobic reaction zone, so that a large amount of sludge is piled

up in the reaction zone, and the treated effluent after separation from the sludge overflows from the upper part of the overflow area of the deposition zone, and then the sewage is

discharged. Mud bed.
